Our TEAM

Our TEAM is made up of Passionate, Motivated and Determined People who are committed to change starting from local communities.


Our TEAM is driven by the passion for development. And, we have a desire to realize Africa’s Transformation by encouraging young people to take leadership roles in addressing the most urgent issues facing their countries.

 

Our TEAM also believes in a new Nigeria and Africa where young men and women would have equal opportunity to develop themselves for the benefit of national development.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Josep Emmanuel Yaba

Joseph Emmanuel Yaba is the President/Founder of Youth Initiative for Sustainable Human Development in Africa (YiSHDA). His story is a proof that young people can overcome difficulty to succeed and help others get there and his best lessons were learnt when he was growing up. A Member of the World Bank Youth Forum (Nigeria) and an alumnus of Discovering Young Leaders Program (DYLP) a program of the Commonwealth Youth Program, African Centre-Lusaka, Zambia. 

 

Moses Agbara

Moses Agbara is the Director, Public Relations of Youth Initiative for Sustainable Human Development in Africa (YiSHDA). The excellent skill he has garnered over the years is evident in how he handles his responsibilities and distinguishes him as a Core TEAM Member of YiSHDA. 

Ibrahim Ismaila

Ibrahim Ismaila (Prof) is the Director, Project Implementation and of Youth Initiative for Sustainable Human Development in Africa (YiSHDA). Ibrahim provides the strategic direction for YiSHDA. His wealth of experience gathered while working with rural communities has further increased and strengthened his leadership, communication, interpersonal skills.

Joyce Akuve

Joyce Akuve is the Director of Operations and also doubles as the Secretary of Youth Initiative for Sustainable Human Development in Africa (YiSHDA). Her experience as a teacher for a number of years has enhanced the way she reaches out to children and Young People.
