Youth Initiative for Sustainable Human Development in Africa (YiSHDA) is a non-governmental and not-for-profit-making organization established with a definite purpose to serve as African Youth platform for potential discovery, development and value creation.

With time-tested and seasoned programs (Skills Acquisition, Entrepreneurial and Leadership Training, Seminars, Interactive Forums) to equip various catergories of young people. Youth Initiative for Sustainable Human Development in Africa (YiSHDA) is setting the right course to the future all African youths desire.

To advocate for policies and programs that have the potential to impact positively the lives of young people especially in the areas of Education, ICT for Development (ICT4D), Environment and Business Development.

Our Aim

To inspire and educate young people by building their capacity, leadership and responsibility skills.

Our Core values

•Resourcefulness: We provide the leadership and guidance needed to manage young people’s development.

•Empathy: YiSHDA consists mainly of young professionals who understand the challenges facing the society. This is a plus for us in YiSHDA because we are able to put ourselves in the shoes of the young person we intend to influence.

•Skills: Youths have a tremendous deposit of unexploited knowledge and skills that can be useful to their wellbeing, immediate community and the society at large. We therefore evaluate the talents and level of skills they have and how they can harness it to realize their goal.

•Innovative: The ability to apply new ideas that will enable youths to undertake unique activities is another hallmark of YiSHDA.
